Several Advantages of Fly Ash Bricks

For the purpose of manufacturer of fly ash brick, the raw materials like Fly ash that is residue generated by coal combustion driven out of the boiler with flue gases. The fly ash is used in composition of 45% composition of fly ash brick. In addition to this, it is 40% of total fly ash is made of sand or stone dust. The 10% of fly ash brick is made of lime sludge.  Another 5% of the flyash bricks are made of Gypsum.

For the purpose of manufacturing of fly ash brick, the raw materials are compressed at 28 MPa.  In addition to this, the raw materials like Fly ash, sand/stone dust, lime sludge, and Gypsum, cured for 24 hours in a 66 degree steam bath. Besides this, the raw materials are then toughened with air entrainment agents. The production procedures involves for more than 100 freeze thaw cycles. The brick is counted self cementing, due to optimum concentration of calcium oxide in the fly ash. The fly ash brick manufacturing process costs less of 20-30% of the production cost of clay brick manufacturing process.

Apart from this, the fly ash brick manufacturing procedures method saves energy, besides this, the fly ash brick reduces mercury pollution. One of the major advantages of fly ash bricks are resistance against fire insulations. In addition to this, the fly ash bricks are known for their optimum strength. With no breakage during transport and use, the fly ash bricks are highly demanded in construction industry. About 50% of mortar for joints and plaster are reduced owing to due to uniform size of bricks. The seepage of water through bricks is systematically reduced owing to minimum water penetration rate of fly ash bricks.

The gypsum plaster can be effectively allowed on the ash fly brick. Without a backing coat of lime plaster is not required for the purposes of applying the gypsum plaster. In addition to this, the fly ash brick don’t requires soaking in water for periods of 24 hours. Only sprinkling of water is used in fly ash bricks for construction applications. The mechanical strength of the fly ash brick is very low as compared to traditional clay bricks. For the purpose of increasing the mechanical strength of the fly ash bricks, the production of fly ash bricks are manufacturing by addition of marble waste. In addition to this, the mechanical strength of fly ash bricks can be increased by addition of mortar between fly ash blocks. One of the major disadvantages of fly ash bricks is limitation of size.  Apart from this, only modular size of fly ash brick can be made.

For the purpose of manufacturing of the fly ash brick in bulk assignment, the contractors and builders can make use of high quality of Fly Ash Brick Machine. Consistent performance, less maintenance, minimum noise and longer serving life, makes the fly ash brick machinery highly demanded in construction industry. The Fly Ash Brick Making Machine is rendered in user-defined specifications.
